For the training batch

Well I've got a job now and am being trained for providing technical support. Our communications training is gonna get over soon so we had an activity of writing something for everyone in the batch. I couldn't make my mind on whom to write about so I ended up writing a poem for everyone in the batch, which apparently not many could understand.

Here's the poem :-

Words can't express

My feelings in excess

The good that I see

The bad that is

We are the rainbow

With our highs and lows

Soon we'll be gone

On our path alone

But the world's a small place

We might meet again

Sometime some place

In our life's different phase

Bearing our same old face.

Love that is...

Its so sweet

Its so sour

Everyone can give

And everyone receives

Still we believe, there's a lack of it

What I speak of, is the love that is.

We search the world for a bit of it

Some say it's right within

Yet we don't want to believe it is

What I speak of is the love that is

The Job of getting a job.

Yeah I'm searching for job. Getting into a call centre. Why? Because I want to make lots of money! Well it'll certainly help me straighten my finances for a change. Well I've been through the trauma of interviews. They are fun actually. Its just the waiting line I can't stand. Never developed enough patients and the lot that's present there awaiting their turn are a different story. Try to start up a conversation and they'll just stare back at you as if you've been speaking in... donno... parsel tongue (snake language... for non harry potter lot). The best is the GD. I'd love to take GD interviews man. In GD mostly you are given a topic and your to make a 3 or 5 min talk about it. Everyone starts scribbling or showing expression as if they are restraining to throw up or something. You wanna know what I do? Well I just sit back and grin. No not because I've already prepared for that topic its because I just suck at preparing and usually just go around babbling what ever come to mind. It's much more easier to do this than try to remember each word that you just scribbled on to your resume. Anyway you have to give a sort of a written test for your abilities to count 2+2 and show the difference between 'price' and 'prize'. Then If you survived then it's the personal interview which is again fun though most consider it the most dreaded of all the levels for no particular reason. Interviewer just asks you about... well you of course. Things that you haven't mentioned in your resume and questions like "where you see your self in next 5 years?" etc. And you get one of the most amazing answers for this questions. Most say they just want to be some manager in the applying company. Some take it a notch up by declaring they want to own their own company in the said industry for which they are applying. And if you haven't screwed up you receive your offer letter and at the month end you go laughing all the way to the bank. If not you go to another interview till you eventually end up somewhere. Well that's what I've experienced about this job thing and I'm glad that I don't want to be part of it for long. As lucky as I usually am I just might get successful with my startups and laugh all the way to the bank. At least I wouldn't have to give up my freedom. Well for the time being I'll have to give it up for short term gains but hopefully won't lose track of my plans and get it going. Wish me luck!

Poem bout a poem

What is a poem?
if not a chain of letters
What is a poem?
if not an inspiration
What is a poem?
if not emotions in words
What is a poem?
if not what many choose to ignore
What is a poem?
if not something to be just read
What is a poem?
if not a collection of thoughts
What is a poem?
if not something that can make you think
What is a poem?
that I wrote a poem about the poem!

Some random song

We are playing with words, Yeah!
We are playing with words

Wanted to write a song
And it had to be long
So we are playing with words, Yeah!
We are playing with words

People find us kool
They stand up and they drool
When we are playing with words, Yeah!
We are playing with words

The words got to make some sense
Or we won't last forth hence
So we are playing with words, Yeah!
We are playing with words

We make a lot of money
And hangout with the honeys
When we are playing with words, Yeah!
We are playing with words

Don't write a song in hurry
Or it'll taste like rotten curry
Start playing with the words, Yeah!
Lets play with the words!
